Mark Gould

New Mexico

Raised in America’s heartland also known as Iowa, this veteran artist has painted professionally for more than 30 years.  His ‘ordinary’ subjects, such as those found in “My Neighbor’s House series”, turn extraordinary through his vibrant color pallet.  His paintings create alter-ego to places we might see every day.

Building on not only his educational and professional artistic experience, Gould also pulls from his life experiences and creates his paintings in acrylic and other mixed media to create multi-dimensions that mirror the dimensions we experience living life.

Gould’s body of work can be found in collections across the globe including Germany, Japan, Dutch Antilles, United Kingdom, and across the United States.  Gould has also been featured on the cover of Southwest Art Magazine, and in other national publications including Acrylic Guide, American Art Collector, and The Artist’s Magazine.
