Hal Pickel
All businesses need someone with a vision, the big picture thinker. Owning his own art gallery and studio has always been a dream of Hal’s. The Nashville native left Tennessee to earn his bachelor’s in marketing from Baylor University in Texas, then worked in Atlanta, Boston and came back to his roots. After more than ten years of working in advertising, he broke away to pursue his passion and talent for art. His professional background in both advertising and art blended seamlessly into the creation of the facility and the concept that has become Two Moon Gallery.
Rachel Pickel
In most paintings, there are brush strokes that are broad and loose and there are those that are fine and detailed. With a diverse background in communications Rachel saw an opportunity to add detail to Two Moon Gallery. Rachel’s profession led her through eight years of sales and marketing for SAE Institute, Coca Cola and Girl Scouts. Her ability to develop a network and awareness about a product and her attention to detail give that big picture the finishing touches it deserves. The Wyoming native earned a bachelor’s in business communications from the University of Kansas and a master’s in education from Tennessee State University.
